Procedures and Fees

Simple Practice platform: All notes, appointments, video session links, and billing are done through Simple Practice, an online therapy business platform that is HIPAA compliant.

  • All new clients will be emailed a link to fill out their “paperwork” in their Simple Practice portal.

  • Clients can securely put in their credit card or health savings account information; that information never is visible to me. My billing staff can help if you have questions or concerns about this.

  • At this time clients are not able to schedule their own appointments. We will discuss and arrange session frequencies together as part of your care.

  • In-person and video sessions available.

Fee: $135/55 minutes.

  • $60 late cancellation/no-show fee. Please provide 24 hours notice of cancellation.

  • Longer or shorter appointments, with appropriate fee adjustments, can be discussed.

Payment: Payment is due at the end of session; fees will be auto-deducted at the end of the business day. I also will accept personal checks or exact cash payment (there is no change on site).

Insurance: I no longer bill insurance. But I can provide you with a “superbill,” a document with the charge for the session and a diagnostic code for insurance billing. You may submit this superbill to your insurance company for reimbursement. Contact your insurance representative for specific instructions on where to send the superbills, and what sort of reimbursement to expect.
